May Media Meeting

"No problem!" That's our goal.

Dear Activist,

We know that when things aren't accessible it drains our energy from the task at hand. We want your participation in our meeting next May to be as hassle-free as possible. We're trying to learn of everyone's accommodation needs as early as possible so we can all spend our energies on working on the "media problem" rather than access problems!

Some folks will be coming with attendants -- and some of those attendants may be interested in taking on additional work. Since this meeting is a grassroots effort -- and since the only funding we have comes from the registration fees folks are able to pay -- we have to make our dollars stretch as far as they can! So early planning will be a big help for us. We hope to match up folks with the kinds of attendant services they need so we can make the best use of everyone's resources.

To help us do that, please be as detailed as possible on the enclosed form. If we've forgotten to ask about a specific need you have, please let us know right away so we can make sure the problem's solved in time for the meeting.

Also, notice that we've given you a range to specify. There are three columns: "I don't need this accommodation"; "this would be helpful but not necessary"; and "this is essential for me." That middle column will allow us to juggle resources so everybody gets a fair shake! Thanks!
